Overview
PhotosPro is a native iOS client for self-hosted Immich photo servers. Your photos, videos, and personal data never pass through any servers controlled by the app developer.
How the App Works
PhotosPro connects exclusively to the Immich server URL you provide during setup. All network communication is directly between your device and your own server — not through any intermediary.
Your credentials (server URL, API key, or access token) are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device and are never transmitted anywhere other than your own Immich server.
Photo Library Access
When you use the upload feature, PhotosPro requests access to your photo library solely to let you select photos and videos to send to your own Immich server. No photo data is ever sent to the developer or any third party.
Location
When you open the Map view, PhotosPro may request your device location to center the map on your current position. Your location is used only on-device for this purpose and is never stored or transmitted to any external service.
Analytics & Tracking
PhotosPro contains no analytics, no crash-reporting services, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. There is no telemetry. There are no third-party frameworks that phone home.
Data Storage
The only data stored on your device by PhotosPro is:
- Your Immich server URL — stored in the iOS Keychain
- Your API key or session token — stored in the iOS Keychain
- Cached photo thumbnails — stored in your device's temporary cache directory and subject to normal iOS cache eviction
All of this data is local to your device and under your control.
Children's Privacy
PhotosPro does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. As no data is collected at all, there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or equivalent regulations.
